Tux is Cold and Quiet in Classrooms

February 23rd, 2009 by Ellis Benus

InformationWeek is both a great weekly publication and a phenomenal online resource.

A few years ago I started receiving their magazine quite by accident.

When I first opened the pages, I didn’t understand a word of what they were talking about:

  • Large scale server farms
  • Enterprise level IT
  • Fortune 500 Companies
  • And WAY more that was beyond my experience level…

Now I tear though the pages with ease and read every issue cover to cover.

Today I received their email newsletter and an article about Linux in the Classroom piqued my interest.

Linux, nComputing, And Overheated Classrooms.

Hooray for Tux!

It’s no secret I’m an OpenSource nut, and am working my way toward being a Linux geek.

Enjoy the read.
